http://forums.luxology.com/discussion/topic.aspx?id=13616 Not a replacement for brute force polygon sculpting like in Mudbox or Zbrush, but definitely worth having alongside your traditional modeling tools for low to med rez work. Should make for an interesting combination with modo's existing paint tools too...
I find analogue sculpting skills transfer quite easily across too digital although I'd not advise including traditional examples for a 3D biased portfolio if you've thoughts of pursuing a career based upon a realistic figurative skillset; because in my opinion it's best not complicate matters when seeking maximum traction…
Hey Guys me and my brother a currently working on a project and our task was to make some chars. Here are some high poly shots of them: I tried to sculpt somekind of Monster from an Artwork i found online :D hope you like it =)
Since the Concept tag Tread seems to work nice i thought why not having a sculpt tag tread too with about the same rules anyway heresa rough creature with bad proportions :D http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1484680/scult%20tag/klonga%20feet.sc1
Hey all! I am currently sculpting a dude to dress him up later on) Some critisism on anatomy is very much appreciated! I am still striving to make him handsome, ya know, elvish kind of handsome (slim and underfed). Any suggestions?)
As Panda has touched on, Organics have rhythm and flow that, regardless of how neutral the pose, makes them feel alive. That straight as a board, rigid T or A pose you see on some sculpts or models is really not great to get a final body that can emote and seem natural from, because they're somewhat sculpted in an extreme…
I took a day to do a sculpt and this is what i got so far, I want to do more with the armor and i am going to put and angry face on him. but i want to know what you guys think, all critiques are welcome. Hope you guys like it :)
Hey polycount :) Working on this for my team in uni Im currently stuck on the anatomy of the legs and wondering what is best to look at for reference. The nose on it is off because of some movement I made earlier just noticed that mistake :worried: Any help on the general sculpt would also be much appreciated
