Just a question, when is the contest ending? It says January 8th; is it the midnight after the day of the 8th, and is there a timezone you're basing the deadline off of? Just want to make sure I don't make a dumb mistake and miss it. -

realistic old wood for furniture help!
im trying to achieve realistic wood, antique 15th -17th century, i have tried to create a nice wood but it just looks fake. My teacher said its to do with the roughness maps which create realistic wood, and i wish i knew what he was talking about and wondered if there are any turotials which will get me great results and… -

Your 'wizardy' ones (the 2nd and 4th ones) are my favs. Beautiful and imaginative sculpts. The VFX for the 4th one's spell could match the rest better, so maybe we'll see that in the textured version? -

I think Richard Williams misunderstood what pissed off Milt. I think Milt was a talented animator but he didn't handle distraction well, especially if that distraction was a new hire constantly hovering around, randomizing his hero with a bunch of questions. Which I think is a much bigger problem. If Milt had headphones… -
Mudbox - problem with brush position! mayday!
I have a problem with my brush position in Mudbox. Every time I am trying to sculpt - the action of the brash is 1/4th of the window length higher then my brush. Also 1/4th of the window is black at the bottom . Maybe there is some connection between these two things. Anybody knows how to fix it? -

I retire my old iThings so the kids can play with them. New iThings stay well hidden and put away. The specs of the system seem nice, just wondering how that controller feels, and what the price of each will be. Oh and fun games... -
