Hi community! I'm wondering if exists in the deep of web, a script or a plugin that allows to adapt the same clothing (so the same mesh and topology) to different type of bodies, having different topology (i'm working on some character mods, which have the same costumes for many different races/body types: for ex. High…
I’ve completed the benchmark asset for my Final project, "Khanjar", the dagger that will act as the quality bar throughout the project. This includes final textures and renders in Unreal Engine 5, with some Blender and Marmoset shots as well. The goal with this piece was to establish the visual language, material…
I really wanted to test out Blender (maya user) and Eevee after I had a coworker show me, and I'm pretty happy with the results. Once I get faster with the tools, and interface I'd consider making the switch permanently anyways. Check out my Artstation if you'd like too. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/d8L0OQ
Is there a way to make a mesh in Blender that has a model's UV coordinates on a plane? This can have some use if, for example, I want to reshape Quake's models. With it, it would be easier to trace where the vertices are "supposed" to go.
My first post on this site 🙂 https://www.artstation.com/artwork/B3DXw8 Modelled in blender, rendered and textured in 3Dcoat, first time using high to low poly baking, powerful stuff..
Hi All, I have a problem with baking normal maps from multires in Blender. Texture settings are correct and i don't see any other options i can change. I use multires baking what don't let me using cage. I have artifacts on the edges of the object. I wanted to know if any of you have a way to clean bake.
Every 3D package can do this ^^ it's just low res render with no Anti-aliasing. But with Freestyle, some GLSL shading and Blender compositor, you can achieve nice results. Although there's an add-on in Blender that can render your animation as a sprite, quite useful.
I made the switch 5 years ago from Maya to Blender. Still use Maya for UV unfolding though. The Blender learning curve is very steep. Blender has an unusual way for doing things and all the muscle memory is gone. But now I can't go back to Maya. It feels so primitive for modeling compared to Blender.
