It looks like some of the vertices aren't merged together. If you extruded some of that shape then the vertices usually aren't attached at that edge in my experience. -

Maya handles UV poorly. Extrude, Bevel, etc. and the UV setup is usually broken. Would love to see some workarounds, instead of remapping. -

If it's editable poly than you can also select all polygons and extrude by local normal. -

Is it possible that the green channel of your normal map is flipped? It looks like the tiles extrude inwards. -
