There's a few cool things about the competition. Mentors are a big part of it, and you get feedback from people in the industry from loads of companies such as Crytek (w00t!)/Sony/Rockstar. You also get paid to work on the game in the summer. It's pretty sweet :) -

Soon? I'd be happy if we could mail them out sometime in the summer time - how's that? The black ones with greentooth in the middle seen in Hawken's pictures won't be made again. There will be a new t-shirt rolled out to commemorate a few things. -

Only game I bought for my PSP was Monster Hunter. Go get it and support the cause!! *_* Keep your eye peeled for SimCity DS. Should be here sometime this summer? And, if you like strategy games Advance Wars DS is great. -

Hey Teriyaki, for any moving stuff python would probably be your best bet. Actually, you could do this all in one swoop with python and photoshop COM. Im kinda swamped right now with summer job crap so will try to get something this weekend. -

So here are the final shots of the aircraft, I may revisit it during the summer, but for now thats all. There are still some topology issues but I will fix them later. And I may put the model in Fusion 360 for some awesome surface detail. But all that in a later date. -

To piggyback on this, summer time means lots of camps for kids and teens. If you live in an area with a video game-rich environment, you could find temporary employment and/or volunteer opportunities as a camp instructor. Never done it myself but it could be a great way to network off the beaten path. -

If he has long hair and goes in a pool, he was probably pretty matted. My Old English Sheepdog (the best breed of dog) has a short cut right now because she has spent the summer swimming in the pool (she has an adorable life jacket). -
