So I decided to place my shield into UDK and that's what I got :) The Highres Image is on my Website. Dont know why it resizes it to this small size :poly127:
A rookie question; but could you tell me what the map types are on the shield you made? I recgonise Normals, Diffuse & Specular but unfamiliar with the other - is it a gloss map?
Looking badass! I really like the surface detail on the shield, you really sold the metal. The bike is easily my favorite though! The renders came out fantastic!
Though this thread is aimed at textures mostly, don't forget to think about the mesh. That shield is very inefficient with regards to the silhouette - the dome gets far too many polygons.

another update, *sigh* no1 cares here about this one, but anyway the model is finished now, just the shield and buster rifle......... btw 5976 faces.......feedback plz
He's really clean for being a fighter. The backside of the shield looks really neat. Nicely painted face, any chance of getting a closer up shot without the helmet on?
Your high poly looks good but I think you made wood pattern with an alpha right? Its looks a little bit blurry and low res. And your shield's front face has sword cut damages but your amblem looks too clear. Overall nice modelling.
