I'd recommend changing to a more traditional and readable font. While some art directors might like your choice, it is harder to read than Tahoma, for example. My Surface Pro is doing great for ZBrush&Photoshop, there isn't even a significant difference in performance in comparison to my Laptop with a core i7>X 560M. Obviously this can change at ultra high resolutions or polycounts, but I wouldn't want to work on that on a tablet anyway. :) -

Cables die especially when they are used, twisted and pulled often, you dont need to send your intuos back. Just buy a new usb cable. You will notice a lot of the expensive headphones these days also have detachable audio cables for both ends for the same reason. Just search amazon or whatever online store for your region… -

This could be explained a lot better, often times to keep a round shape with details, you need more edges. So less edges = smoother isn't really something I would say is a generic rule to follow.
