it would indeed. this is all very interesting but it is absolutely pointless. . you save no resources if you do this in a way that doesn't provoke artefacts because you need to split the seam and deal with normals in all scenarios. This is interesting, Using depth data to inform AI texture generation. The model is obviously camera-mapped, but I could see this improving by adding multiple angles. Developers could in theory train the AI using in-house content, to then auto-produce asset variants.… -

I agree. I've been scratching my head on that. I modeled everything to a real world scale. Counter heights are 36", seats are 18", coffee mug is diameter 3.25". Need to dig into why it looks that way...thought maybe I'd lost my bearings after staring at it for a few weeks. Thanks for the feedback! -

@minifigmaster125 As you can now it depends on the piece you need to make, but for example, a fire extinguisher I had to make using PBR. Made this prop in about 18 horus, had to make it in 3 days, but usually if I want to make a more quality asset, I spend like a week , depending on the asset. -

Hi Ilya, I used the 6 z-depth renders in Substance Designer with the scatter node and layered them with a variety of scales / rotations and 2d transform nodes until I was happy with the result. The hardest part was getting the stones to stand out individually and not blend together. In the end I had 18 layers of rocks. -

No, A-Levels are part of what you would think of as high-school, Downsizer. That likely won't be finished till 18 years old. Matt, there's some good advice here. Just find something you enjoy doing and are good at, and focus on developing it. Take a while to see where your true interests and strengths lie.
