How can we reduce the whole number of polys of a model of 2000 polys to something like 400 polys. I mean a way to do it like we reduce a pic from 1024*768 to 640*480... So we can have less poly on the third person view model of our weapons for our mod. Thx for the help. Regards, Renardin.
I learned that. First halo has 2000 poly, Halo 2 had 3000 poly... And im guessing that Halo 3 has 4000 poly mastercheif costumes. I took the time and courtesy (mind my spelling mistakes)- to post this reference i gathered from models i downloaded off the interwebs. :santa:
I use ZBrush's Decimation Master often when I need to reduce the polygons of a mesh. I would like to leave this topic open for possible workflows and their efficiencies.

I'm thinking about moving to Colorado Springs. Maybe just for a year, while I work on Indie stuff, but maybe longer. Any of you folks living there or used to live there, and have any opinions about it? I assume there isn't much of a game development scene there, but there are probably some micro studios and freelancers.
