her* axe. When I was making a payload map, I noticed the purse with a flower on it in the pyro's locker slot in one of the meshes. I guess pyro could still be a him, but I still call pyro a her.
the problem doesn't come from the textures on this enviro, but from the lighting (or lack of lighting) which makes it look flat bland and undetailed. nice sculpts tho I like the oni wolf and chick with flowers statues the best
Looking good so far. For your first piece I think it would be nice to see those windows broken up some more, maybe by adding in a/c units or flower pots/boxes etc. Keep at it!
I FINALLY got around to making the flowers. Not sure about the placement though, also added a vignette. At this point im almost done, I just need to make a couple more props to go inside the cabinet on the bottom shelf! .
Hello, I propose a suffocating enviroment with threatening flowers and pollen clouds. My WIP link is http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138119 Congratulations to everybody for your concept arts. Most are amazing, and make me feel ashamed.
That's not what my pre-alphas look like... Besides that, if it has a silly waste-of-time planet scanning/flower gathering mechanic I'll probably wait to buy it until there's a good save editor. Looks like it could be good though.
I really like the cute styles of these models! I wasn't sold on the flowers (they seem to lack the shading and charm of your other models) but I adore the rocks and crystals. The logo is really neat too. Looking forward to seeing more!
@Myriam good to see you post! Took me some time to put my finger on it... I think the biggest issue is the panther doesn't feel feline. It's standing with head up, looking up, a lot like what dogs do often. I would lower the head so it's level or slightly lower than the shoulders, and tilt the head down so the eyes are…
Looks pretty good. However it usually doesn't need to be a watertight mesh. The areas you circled for example... each of those vertices don't need to be present in the lower long part, it doesn't need to be one continuous mesh. Make that lower piece a long box, and rest the small "grip" trapezoids on top of it. The trouble…
The reason i didnt pack it into the lower left quadrant is because ive been told to scale up certain UVs so that the resolution of the texture will be higher once applied, and if it were too scaled down it'd come out muddy. also the lower left quadrant and lower right are both separate objects. If all the UVs were packed…
