WIP-001 Blockout I added a few extra things based on the model, because I though it was super duper cool. Theres this Sarcophgus like piece in the back of the immortal, I never knew what it was for but I always thought that was a really cool design choice.
If salary wasnt much lower than in USA then why would they have branches there? Average annual wage in USA in 2002 was $36,764 and in China in 2006 was $2,025. It propably isnt 18 times lower for videogame artists but still quite bad i would imagine.
http://www.rsart.co.uk/2006/08/26/setting-up-a-quick-portfolio-site/ Rick covers some quick ways to get a portfolio up and running. Some good ideas in there. Remember to make it all about the art and not about the blog if you go that route.
Switched to Blender for the cost of it, and picked up CGMaster's Car Creation tutorial by the boss man Chris. Got through it, and here we are. Rendered in Cycles, modeled with Blender. Would recommend the tutorial, his method for automotives is awesome and really helps getting the crisp reflections between multiple panels.

The DS has supports 18-Bit (260 000) colors. In photoshop, how do you tell your color palette to only display colors that are 18-bit? I don't know if its something totally noob of me to not know, but I can't find it in the photoshop help files either. Thanks for any help

In the first screenshot he shows the Render UVs tool. The help file explains how to use the tool. To paint those kinds of textures, you'll have to go old-school, see http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/TexturingTutorials, specifically the Hard Surface Texture Painting (2006) one.
