Wacom drivers are divided into 2 categories - "junior" tablets (bamboos) and "senior" (Intuos, Cintiq). So we're speaking about second category driver. It's universal and fits all Intuos and Cintiq tablets. -

Yes, get a tablet. Even a sub-$100 bamboo tablet will be many times better than using a mouse for this. Why? Pressure sensitivity. Google that phrase and that should give you plenty to research. -

the tablet should be fine, maybe try to replace the wacom nib with new one. if it's not working, you can keep your tablet but get a new pen. cheaper than replace them all. -

If it was just the display/tablet, I'd want it. The puck is their Wacom wheel. The people calling it overpriced are silly, it's better band for your buck compared to a 5k iMac+Tablet, or the Wacom all in one PCs. -

I also have this issue even with new 1.26 version. It can be fixed by deleting tablet preferences thought Wacom Tablet Preference File Utility. Unfortunately this works only until next windows reboot. -

Is using a wacom tablet over a mouse any better or worse for carpel tunnel? or dose it not make much of a difference at all? always thought a tablet would be better then a mouse but I honestly have no clue at all. -

Dado : Use the enter key. Yup the program is not perfect but once you get in the habit of using Enter like one uses Tab and F in Photoshop is pretty awesome ... Pressure and tablet options really are in the tablet driver ...
