Slick, reflective and smooth AF black. Brushed silver metal, And teal car metal. I've never really USED this program (Substance Designer) before, but would these materials be considered relatively easy to make? And if so how would I go about creating them? Second question is how well I'd be able to transfer the material…

Hi, everyone! This is my first post in here. It's a creature model of my own concept. He is a professional ice hockey turtle. And he is a lefty.First time texturing in Substance Painter. It's really fun but a bit confusing while importing maps to other renderers. All rendered in Arnold. I am done with him for now, but…
WIP Hi world, this is my Yakuza artwork, which I developed during my participation in the ArtStation challenge "Neo Tokyo: Exponential Reality" in the Film/VFX Character Art category (rendered). This experience was incredibly exciting and allowed me to navigate the entire 3D pipeline, from likeness sculpting, modeling, and…
BRAVO! Holy smokes man... I have to hand it to you, I am super impressed with how gorgeous this is. I'm definitely going to have to look into Unreal. My PC would probably go into cardiac arrest at the thought of rendering all that plant life in Arnold. Exquisite lighting... Looks like a Thomas Kincaid. Very very well done.
Working on an Arnold Schwarzenegger likeness. I don't really want to subdivide the face more so i can move to the next one, but i can't really get the upper eyelids right. I either don't have enough resolution (it's currently at 41k) or i am sculpting it wrong. It's probably the latter so i may start them over tomorrow.
I've understood your point. But I wanted to bake Displacement Maps to create surface details in my high poly model. Like the ones i've highlighted in red. I don't want to use a normal map for those details, because I want to render the high poly model in Arnold, and i want it as realistic as possible, also from close up...
For substance painter performance is typically limited by the GPU. For Arnold rendering and similar (offline rendering) the CPU is the limiting factor. So I would suggest upgrading the GPU, what you get depends on your budget. You can check out this thread for more information and advice…
Hey Brian , I followed the tutorial by Adam skutt hair creation . I created my textures inside arnold after creating the strands using Xgen . Getting texture and shader is a straightforward thing . Hardest part is placing those cards . Personally , Handplacing every cards feels like to give better result . Hope it helps .…
To be honest, the Arnold movie was NOTHING like Philip K Dick's story at all. This one looks way more truer and much more what it was SUPPOSED to be. Remember that this is the same author that wrote the story that inspired BladeRunner; so its meant to be full of depth and metaphors. However, if you want satire you can…
