we got a carbon tax on gas starting today, 2.4 cents extra for gas. $100 is supposed to cover the extra money you pay plus other tax reductions are supposed to offset the 2.4 cent tax. No one is happy about it and the government is ignoring everyone as usual -

CPU, Ram and SSD are key. Video card is not as important but i would recommend a nvidia card so you can use CUDA. Processor - It comes down to budget, and how to maximize it.
