I use a G series ASUS laptop, and swear by it. They're meaty machines, really well made, and the cooling system (VERY important in a lappie) is second to none. http://www.asus.com/us/site/g-series/
Ohhhhh weve got ourselves a connoisseur!!! First rpg's I ever played were this series, followed very closely by New world computings M&M series! Makes me want to play again!
[ QUOTE ] The "Inside 3ds Max" series is usually pretty good. (especially the ones where I was a contributing author.) [/ QUOTE ] That kicks ass! That's my favorite series of Max books but I haven't been able to find anything past v3

Sigma has been AWESOME lately. I know lots of people who've been selling their Canon L series lenses and replacing them with Sigma's new Art series. Tokina has a few good ones too.
The 2.5 series really is a big improvement of the 2.4x series. I'm looking forward to the final release and think i might be using it more and more. I tested the previous beta 2.5 and was pleasantly surprised (especially in the customisability aspect).
