Online competitions. They're great for at the very least, short bursts of motivation. And there are a lot of them going on between the various forums. :) Other than that, fanart. I find I really want to do fan art of a lot of things, but in threeeedeee. -

yea fanart is fine in your folio as long as you label it as so. You don't want to imply that you made the original for the show in any way. I would maybe work on the texture though...possibly give it some subtle wear to break up the surface a bit. -

nice man, looks a lot like the original, the only real difference is that it doesn´t have that stylized texture look that the game had but if you´re not trying to replicate it exactly then that doesn´t really matter. Always like seeing LIS fanart, i love that game
