Great article. My optimization experience has been mostly mobile but all of the same rules apply except your drawcalls are usually between 100 - 200. I need to tear something apart with Renderdoc :) -

Yes, you can't compare Hawken to an MMO - most AAA fps studios are pretty small compared to MMO studios. Also, I'm not saying there's 100-200 artist, you forgot about designers & programmers. -

Edit > Preferences > Interface > UI Scaling with auto and 100 and 200% options as well as a UI font size setting seems a good place to start :) Mines the latest CC and this is in photoshop but i'm sure theres similar in other CC programs.
