While doing an environment course I took the house parts I created and built a house based loosely on this one in Bernkastel-Kues. Thanks all! Small update again. I started to work with building models. Few modular pieces done and some texture from Substance Designer. I also made a building material that allows to change a bunch of different things to help making more variations between buildings. -

@tristanCarter I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what you've outlined here. Are you suggesting that I extract the geometry of, say, one stone and then clone it around the edges of the arch? Like building a large brick wall from a few sculpted brick variations? If so, I feel like there'd be some difficulty getting… -

I know it's too late now you've done the bakes, but I'd have probably approached this in an entirely different way. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Splash Damage have used this concept to see if people can/will use modular model/texture workflow. If its not going to be reused and you don't want to build multiple differently shaped rooms, so its not a modular thing, and you want to split it, I'd split it by rooms. So a room would be one mesh including its walls,floor and ceiling. There is not much point of splitting it into that small pieces as walls, floors etc,… -

You can also build your scene using modular pieces, unwrapping each to its own sheet and tiling the 3D piece, rather than the texture. A lot of todays games use that process and if the console/system can handle it I prefer to work that way. I did this image for someone @ another forum but it applies to what I'm saying here… -

Building off a gimmick Originally, the idea called for three bridges. They span across a room in a curved nature for multiple elevations using these circular shapes to make what appears to be an eye. The back sides of the walls were simply a walkway to allow the player to run from ground level to the top bridge.… -
