Price/performance wise the 2600K really is the best out there, the 2500K isn't bad if you're on more of a budget, but at $300 or so the 2600K is just awesome. -

250-300 tris. DS allows 2048 on screen at one time. You'd be in a bit of trouble if you were limited to 2048 for the entire gameworld. -

How is this the first affordable one? From what I know there are a fair few models below $1000, and even some as low as $300 (but those are kinda skimpy and janky).
