have two tests tomorrow, but i wanted to relieve some stress thru art: it was a 20 minute job, so it wasnt my 'best try' but one of my first. im up for comments on the basic 'shapes' involved etc. anything u feel i already have wrong / right, i'd like to know about it thanks! cheers -

Looking great man! I do agree that the bronze isn't quite there yet, it's still reading like wood or a light tan leather. For the few areas of the blade with chunks missing, could I recommend adding in some stress fractures/scratches? Those areas feel to clean to me. -

More progress! Time to tear down the walls and ceiling and design them better, any other feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm a little stressed in terms of direction for the new walls since right now they're real filler looking and don't want to repeat the same mistake. -

Some stress with the assignments here, so the revolver is put on is for now :( So, this is an other school assignment, a environment. Limit is on 30.000 tris and like one 4k map, something like that ^^ Soooo, found a cool concept over at Massive black that i liked, stared out with some id -

I wouldn't stress over a few polys, unless you've been given a budget. More important is effective UV layouts, understanding UV space, baking, and making awesome looking texture maps. In the links MiAlx posted there's info on gun poly counts... pretty good stuff. -

Window Reflection
Sitting late with this last minute project, quite stressful, but I ran into some problem. I tried to add a reflection map to give my windows more of a convincing feeling. The problem is that I can't figure out how to seperate the textures intensity, for instance on a building I only wanna add the reflection map but not on… -

cheers sacboi, yea not really sure tbh, its case of paying the bills and CG/game etc is just not cutting it Tough thing to gove up on it when I spent so many years doing it, but it seems you can earn more away from the iindustry and hav e a lot less stress/hassle I will just have to dwell on it some more :) -

Hey everyone! Here's another update. Feel like I need am actual animator to stress test the rig. haha Rigging is pretty much done besides the jacket. Just have to deal with skin weight issues on the clothing and add some corrective blendshapes. Look dev soon! -
