Characters such as in Assassin's Creed begin to cost about $ 1500 for one character. It was information for you to think about. There is a huge difference between a character made to order and a character made for a Turbosquid site, where this character for $ 100 will sell many times. -

Hi Mike, Here are my suggestions. Gather tons of references. and make sure they are correct. If you are modeling something like a gun. make sure its a real gun. airsoft guns look close to the real thing, but they leave out a lot of detail or they have made up parts that are not on the real gun. Constantly check your model… -

Does Assassin's Creed 4 count? Rokka was also a recent anime with an Aztec theme. I think Shadow of the Colossus also had kind of a Central American theme, though it was a very high fantasy version. Resident Evil 5 took place in Africa. -

Yeah it's kinda silly having your main character so obviously mirrored, at least the front is broken but, but you are looking at his back 90% of the time. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was a last/current gen game so it might of been related to that. -
Re: Layered geometry and animation
To be a tad more descriptive, You can see what I mean in games like Assassins creed, where alot of the characters have overlapping strands of geometry, does this cause any problems? Can a sleeve overlap the beginning of the arm, or should they be topo'd over? -
Re: THQ wipes plans for 2014
Ubisoft isn't big because of Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6. 'Just Dance 3' is very handily Selling Assassins Creed by almost double, and probably cost $$1/10 to make. THQ delivers on a few of the AAA, but they haven't diversified their portfolio to minimize risk. -
Need a Character from Killzone
Hey everyone, I need a pretty good rendition of the Helghan Assassin from Killzone Shadowfall if anyone can create one. This is for strict personal use (cosplay), I can pay a little probably not a lot, but you don't need to texture anything, just a good rendition of the original if possible. Cheers
