I have a weapon which I've rigged using the Skin modifier. After animating most of the animations I discovered one of the bones ("bolt") has it's pivot in the wrong place - which unfortunately I need to fix. If I remove the skin modifier, fix the pivot position and reapply the skin modifier the whole weapon offsets to one…
Resetting your transforms is affected by your hierarchy, so if that piece in your image is a child of some other object with unfrozen transforms, your pivot point won't move to Origin. If you hate going all the way over to press the insert key, try the alternative of holding D and X then MMB dragging across Origin. The D…
Yep, same thing as Motion Tab > Key Info Rollout > IK drop down menu > Select pivot. But the WoB is already out and easily clickable. There aren't any new features the WoB adds, it makes the commonly used, existing features easier to access. Which for me means I can have the copy/paste pose rollout fully extended and WoB…

Don't really care for quad chamfer to be honest. How about simple, small things? Like when you merge objects from different scene it would actually jump to object named Sphere01 when pressed S etc? Or when resetting pivot point, moving it somewhere move/rotation/scale gizmo would actually follow it? So you don't have to go…
Ok busy wrapping up this project, had given up the ghost trying to follow my brief I'd initially penned when Brawl2 kicked off back in May. Anyway so just in the last three wks decided to pivot across making a 3D concept....well sort of, that seems like currently it's predominately morphed into something else entirely but…
The hedge mesh: - Create a box with a few segments in it, 3x2x2, relax it so it softens up and drop a noise modifier on it to twist it around a little. Don't collapse the stack just yet, you can change the noise parameters to alter the hedges slightly. You can do the odd shaping by hand, I'm just lazy and like automation.…
