Hello mate, Nice work and I like your drive to reach your goal. I like your subway tunnel, I'd like to see a clean version (which you have) and a smashed up version. Also some props would help the scene out alot. The tunnel lighting doesn't seem to be logically placed (minor point) As far as an overall folio goes, I used…

yea for the most part all of the tablets are pretty slick when it comes to this. So a lot of people who like the feel of drawing on paper, or just got used to the resistance, tape a piece of paper over the tablet. It also helps to avoid damaging the tablet over long periods of intensive use.
I gotta chime in here to say I use my tablet across both monitors, left one is 4:3, right one is 16:9, and the tablet is 4:3. I have never had a problem with the shape of the tablet, and to be honest I've never even though of it till I read this thread.

http://malektips.com/vista-disable-tablet-pc-ink.html Here is a link to one of the sites I used to disable the Tablet PC Input Service. It cleared things up for me, but like I said, I haven't used MAX with my tablet so who knows if it'll work. I hope this works out! :)
I am only a beginner zBrush user myself, but to me it feels like a tablet is essential, especially for that fine detail. Can you control intensity with a mouse? Maybe look into one of the monoprice tablets: http://www.monoprice.com/Search/Index?keyword=tablet Also- your rocks are looking great so far!
