@Ged: Hey man! i really only use 3ds Max for the high-poly models. but if i ever get the time i would love to learn modo, especially after seeing how crazy some of the modeling tools are. @Mr Smo & eyo: thanks guys! @JasonLavoie: <3
I bet the guy filming was a... scruffy look'n nerd herder My personal favorite are the leia bounty hunter "bouush" costumes. There were like 4 of them near the end. Those costumes just sum up starwars for me. I think if i did a costume next it'd be that.
This.. ..and this.. Basically sums it up for me. Fred is coming off as someone that has good intentions but is incredibly naive and isn't facing reality in what he can and can't do. And now that all this has come out in the open people can decide whether they want to participate or not and the communities can move on.
Raul summed it up for the most part. I agree. Also, remember to get rid of vertices that don't make up part of the outer silhouette. I can see a few that Raul didn't point out. Did you find reference for the back of binoculars? It would help a bunch. -Phil
Here is a quick paint over for you. :] I think this texture lacks interesting shapes and forms. Try varying soft edge, hard edge, texture, value etc. Well... koste almost summed up some basic principles very well so I'll avoid repeating everything.
Howdy, lads! Title sums it. Looking for good resources on the theory of Creature Design, hopefully (but not necessarily) books. I've heard of the books by Terryl Whitlatch (Science of Creature Design and some others), but they seem to be more art books than instructional books. Many thanks in advance! [Forum newbie, if…
I've noticed more of us are using this rather friendly software these days. I was wondering if anyone has tips and tricks up their preverbal sleeve? I have a good-un: you can do sums in the numbers boxes! so you can write "5 x 39" and hit enter and the answer will appear as your value! handy.
I found a small freelance project that involves a little bit of animation and mostly modelling. It's technical equipment animation presentation. I worked as a modeler for 2+ years before, but this is my first freelance project. i was wondering how much i should charge for it. Should i charge by hour, or if it is total sum,…
This is looking fantastic Mr Smo! Thanks for the breakdown of how you did the cliffs, I had been wondering how you did them when I first saw this in waywo. Have you thought about putting anything else out in the water?
Seems like if you go through and read all the reviews they make a pretty accurate sum of the product. I found this one pretty informative (as well as having links to the other reviews) http://3drips.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/a-word-about-the-yiynova-msp19u/
