Was bored today, so I did a couple low poly models from the old show Ren and Stimpy, that are both around 1k polygons. Didn't texture them yet, used block out colors to see how it would look, not too shabby if I say so myself. Any comments or critiques are welcomed. I may end up sculpting them in zbrush and maybe rig and…
Hello There! Im seeking help on this matter, since could'nt figure out it by myself. I sculpted a T-Rex via Dynamesh and created a low poly from it by using the Z-Sphere+Rig method. The Lowpoly got a UV Layout in 3ds max and was reimported into Zbrush I then projected my original Scuplt and Polypaint information onto the…
Oy! Last Sunday, I started working on this school assignment. I have to make a race-game in Unity 5. I chose to work on Slot-Cars. The track would be surrounded of toys, and house furnitures etc, in a simple living-room or kid room. I was thinking of Malcolm in the Middle's kind of house. Simple sunny lighting, with very…
It's not procrastination if I make a modifier for the current model, right? Eh, who am I kidding... Anyway, I've made a quick (but slow) Geonodes modifier to fill an unwrapped mesh with tiled geometry... yay. I don't want to use Boolean to remove extra geometry (it will be VERY slow), so the edges are a bit broken. So they…
Hi all, I'm somewhat familiar with most methods of generating low pollies from highs, but I'm curious as to what is considered acceptable or not in some situations. For example, I'm currently creating a tree in zbrush that is very organic with flowing roots and so forth (similar to…
Hi all, I've trawled the internets and the "how to normal map" in this forum and outside, and I still can't figure out why my normal map is baking with hairline cracks in it. I had previously baked a normal map for this asset and it came out perfect. Then I decided to add a few more poly's to the lowpoly version, and…
Hi everyone, I am currently a student working on developing as a character artist and I was hoping to get some feedback on the topology of my low poly model so far. I want to make sure everything is fine before moving onto the hands and feet so if anyone has any kind of advice/ critique to give on the flow and whether it…
I really enjoyed it. I like Daredevil better, but that's probably just because.. well, I like Daredevil better as a character. I also didn't think it was "slow" at all. I mean, it didn't have an action scene every ep like Daredevil, but in a world where Breaking Bad was such a huge success it always baffles me to see…
Just bake bevel ( rounding corners) shader on your low poly without hi poly. Cylindrical shapes would always give you those artifacts and you have a choice of having them that way . it sometimes could be preferable even with such "ray missing target" artifacts. Or having what bevel shader does. A low poly circle, angled…
