Toss them into a folder as *.JPG and load the folder into 3DO's import tab at the bottom of the brush selection window. :)

Make the turbine a prefab and it should save everything about it, also it might just be that the animation isn't selected

Looks like flipped normals or something. Maybe select the terrain and hit opimize in the geometry edit mode.

Could be camera clipping. Select your camera and adjust the near and far clip plane in the attribute editor.

Select all and click rescale elements. This will normalise the texel density relative to the geometry/uv island scale.
