Hey, it's an MSI GTX 4GB 980, I'm not sure exactly what model is as I didn't buy it (I pulled it from our demo machine after GDC). It's probably this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127834&cm_re=msi_980_gtx-_-14-127-834-_-Product
Rise from your grave! They've released a 3dsmax preset for Blender 2.66 and it works pretty well. The navigation is there, as is the sub object selection keys and WER for move/rotate/scale. Get it here: http://projects.blender.org/tracker/?func=detail&aid=28452&group_id=9&atid=127
Found some new rocks I liked! I about 160 images taken for this one. Even though I have a pretty decent light tent set up I still tend to mask each image in photoshop, always gives a much more clean result.
holy crap! save your images as jpg's, the first image is 1.7 MB! The slowness of imageshack combined with the insane file size resulted in me having to wait a minute before the first image was loaded. Just save as jpg with a 80% - 90% compression. There is absolutly no need to save those sketches as png's

There is a discussion on this thread on page 162 about cutting holes on cylinders, there is also a bunch of older post about that. Should be enough to solve your problem. https://polycount.com/discussion/56014/how-the-f-do-i-model-this-reply-for-help-with-specific-shapes-post-attempt-before-asking/p162
My aim was to create a next-gen doorway, something you might find in Unreal 3. I made a height map (bottom left image)so I could run it through the Nvidia normal map filter in photoshop to create the normals. I also used an emissive for the security light. 3 x 1024 maps 147 triangles (82 polygons)
