One thing you could improve on your next model is that the hard surface looks kind of soft and lumpy, it can help to not have a very high polycount in the basemesh for hard surface parts, it's easier too keep straight lines that way. Hello, While you could certainly transfer the "colored pixels" information if the change of UVs only consists of scaling and translations, you actually don't need to concern yourself with any of that at all if you perform the bake in Blender using the normal option.
