You should be able to get it to look pretty detailed with a normal map as long as you don't get crazy conservative with the 'belt' geo. If you've got a copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 (or something similar), get in there and take a look at how they did it, and then do your best to replicate that. Good luck man :) -

Thank you guys :) @jeremiah_bigley: maybe you're right, I think that I'll tweak a bit its color when I place it on the level and see how it works ingame. Just 2 new pictures: the shield for the Brain Boss, and the first asset for the 3th (and last) tileset, a battleship. -

battlecow thanks for the feedback. It makes more sense to make it smoother and give the grain with texture as you suggested. Also fixed the extra branches and made them more elegant without making them look weak. I will post an update when I finish texturing. OctoKube thanks a lot. -

You'll need to add a LERP node with a depth biased alpha for the alpha channel, set values accordingly in the node (500 units for example) and the A - B values will blend where it encounters a transition between land /water. You can use this to add a "foam" layer where water reaches land for instance. For actual waves you… -

A casual google search turns up torrents on page 1, front and center. Give it up, you can't protect your software unless you provide it with a service like Battle.net or steam. The solution is in the business model, not in the software. -
