I love the texture on the breastplate. It looks like its real hammered steel. That same effect would be appropriate on the helmet. -

Quick update with another pass at optimizing. Down to 2750 ish. Still needs all levers, hammer, barrel, spring rod, and trigger. -

Tnahks. This is just an example scene - you can always destroy these containers as you want: with explosion or quick hammer blows or something else
