Working on the samurai and the donkey, here's some quick screen shots from Maya of the donkey. I've gotten him all retopo'd and UV'd, put him in Maya with some place holder textures to see how he looks overall before posing. Moving onto the samurai next!
Thanks for the feed back WOOT! :) The tires were suppose to be a place holder (forget to mention that sorry!). they are far too wide at the moment, I am just currently modelling and baking down the new tires which I will be present in my next screen shot. Thanks again :D
Not bad, but your pumpkin looks more like a depressed orange. The silhouette just doesn't say "pumpkin" at all. Given that it's the focal point of the scene, I would think it's reasonable to model in the ridges and add some "oomph" to the silhouette. Bummer about the contest. :/ At least it's portfolio fodder, right?
a lot of the gun looks too smooth like the holes at the end of the gun on the cage around the barrel. more loops would help there. scope looks unfinished, a place holder i assume. stock needs work, looks too plain and does not reflect the futuristic look of the rest of the the gun.
