I cannot recommend my Y series Lenovo enough. I does in fact have a 960m insteaed of a 980m, but damn is it a SOLID laptop (and also 300 less + new instead of open box + 16gb of RAM). I have the Y500, first gen of the line, and 3 years later it still feels and runs new. I do however take very good care of it, it should be…
For LODs - plan properly and it wont be a problem You can still mess with normals if there's a bevel. The technique has its place (massive things with weird resource budgets etc.) but that place is not 'everywhere because its quick' and that's what i see an alarming amount of. My main gripe is that it's incredibly…
Hello Fabi_G! I see what you mean, I 100% agree! I feel it got very flat after rendering it, and I miss the details from the sculpt. I will look at my light setup and materials, seems like the textures overall roughness is very high which probably makes the model read flat and normal gets no chance to pop. And I assume it…
@mark lol yea definitely has more control but sometimes you don't need all that @specter oo no, i'll use your example, say you have animation 1 that you want from frame 0-29 and animation 2 on frame 30-59 your layers look like this: 100% animation 1 100% animation 2 animation 2 is overriding animation 1 at 100% you need to…
These characters are being done for a small FPS game called E X C A V A T I O N. They are modeled and textured in SketchUp Make, then exported to Blender for animation and further exporting. Hiya, i'm finishing a game engine and I would like to hear from experienced game level designers about a serialization/persistence problem. imagine I have a class called "Pet" in python: class Pet: def EmitSound(self): soundDrv.play("genericPetSound.wav") then I inherit two classes... Dog and Rhino //Dog.py file class…
I've been doing some research into it myself and I've found that a lot of people seem to like Monoprice, thinking about buying myself one and Monoprice is selling theirs for $380 atm, the specs are pretty similar to the Cintiq as well. $380 is pretty much a steal for a tablet compared to what I got now (intuos 5) which was…
Well you would have to re-record all your stuff in 1920 x 1080 and export that out in premiere as 1920 x 1080. Pretty sure youtube just looks at the dimensions of the video and then properply scales that for 720, 480 etc views.
