I little bit of an update, I reworked almost all of the character, and only have hair, eyelashes, and a pose to be finished. I will post the finished weapons later also, but they are practically done also.
You should post an example render first so ppl can see what you are trying to acheive. Lighting for an environment will usually be a different setup than what it would be for a weapon or character.
Cool piece! Love the style and colors! The only thing I'm not too sure about is the weaver rail at the top. Those are pretty modern and it doesn't seem like it fits on an older weapon like that.
I have designed a weapon but the particle fx is so strong. i searched google but there's no current info abt this. I aligned the vertices but the outcome is still the same. what should I do with this?
Hi :) Great story, i think you should use extension time and pose him (with rig) a little and maybe add some weapon to make him look more interesting! Powodzenia.
the characters looks top notch man awesome job although i just think the weapon needed a bit more love on the painted metal material and the magazine shape but overall looks awesome
Update! This is a bit tricky considering I had to use TON of creative freedom thanks to there being only one reference image of this weapon. Not sure what else to add to really make it pop.
looks nice, a lil bit like warhammers "tau" - maybe its a good ref. to get more functions on your bot, like armor or weapons ;) iam curious whats coming next ;)
Thanks FNI and sahib. FNI I've done no work to the face since the earlier updates. Maybe the angle? Finished all the armor. Now a detail pass on everything, and creating the weapon. and a basic coloring:
