WIP - PC-CSGO | Phaser (MP9)
Began work on a skin featuring 80s retro style vibrant colours and a sci-fi phaser theme. Currently, I am trying out patterns and UV maps suited to the design and fitting the shape of the MP9. More to come soon. Enjoy. :) -

Haha, yeah kinda. I wasn't trying to go with their current 3D style, I was trying to go more old school, and exaggerate certain proportions, and my drawing style happens to be heavily influenced by retro manga video anime. -

Looking excellent man. Love the solar panel and antenna wiggle idea. Will the normal cars be allowed on the space map or will they be space only vehicles? If space only, how about a retro-rocket and flying saucer to go along with the solar rover? -

Im going to create a base texture similar to the grids and retro mountain landscape grids of the sci fi genre, then i will create a customised design to go over the top of it, not desided on a colour for this yet but the background will be purpley, blue with bright colours on top -

Weta has a line of 50s retro-futurist raygun props under the Dr Grodbort's Infallible Aether Oscillators name. If you you're not going to the 50s style, you could probably do a lot worse than digging through their catalogue.
