I know that CSS uses a physics system for the deaths but e.g. UT2003 had death anims as a fallback for some reason. I thought maybe Valve left some in. They probably need some if you want to use them in CS1.6, right?
Well theres something for the Max crew to crow about. They may have an unwieldy animation system, a complicated programming language and an intrerface that usually only caters to do things one way instead of a dozen, but at least the goddamn alpha sorting works.
halo still sells in the 100k range everymonth.... more people have access to it, while others will need to spend more money to get their home system up to HL2's min specs. they both are going to sell like monsters though.

Hey @Yerus. For the net 6 months I have to create procedural systems and models with a group of students. These seem like already made tools. But thank you! I will check these out and hopefully they can give us some inspiration
Getting it approved by the rating systems of other countries, and localization. Localization can actually take a while since if the game uses a custom font, they might have to not only translate things but also add additional character sets to there bitmap fonts.
Denny, if you don't get the deformation, the whole point to the system is lost. But even if it doesnt translate to games, plenty of people could still use it. Especially for all your character artists that just want to pose their stuff out for show.
