Finally had some time to work on this again! Mostly finished up my major forms for the scene and practice some soft material stuff. Specifically the carpet, beanbag chair, and bed! Never got to use marvelous designer before or POM shader nodes so a lot was learned with this project. still need to tweak some of the colors…
yeah, FFXII revenant wings for the DS. FFTA2 was announced as part of the "Ivalice Connection" along with a FFT rehash for the PSP with the Onion Knight job from FF3 in it. I really didn't want to buy a PSP but with FFT and Crisis Core coming I guess I have to :/

@gnoop I can confirm raytracing works fine in Marmoset 4.06 with UV splits on all hard edges in the normal map, I just tried it to make sure and it's seamless without the Arnold bug. I also tested all soft edges and that works fine too, so you can pretty much set the normals however you like in Marmoset and it comes out…

i'm coming from UDK where i could just assign a 3 color node and not need a texture. i have this asset that just needs a color on it. i cahnged the diffuse but it still sez 'replace texture' anyone know if i can just use a standard color or do i always need a texture?
Nice work! It’ll be a few days before I can test it. But I really want to check it out soon. BTW, I think the OSL short comings are designed to be augmented by the node interfaces. You might be able to complete it that way? And it’s developed by Sony Pictures not Autodesk.
