It happens wherever there are a lot of images, but here's an example of a page where it occurred. Load the page - got a few images, reload, got the rest. I don't have the best of connections, but this isn't something I've seen happen elsewhere, and Polycount seems to give up on loading quite quickly…
On the "Hideout Reloaded" scene I personally don't feel like those DOF shots add too much, the first DOF shot does not have too much in focus, and the second could look cool if we got a better shot of what was on the desk, rather than the from below shot currently in that means we don't get to see much of what is on there.
Nope. Re-baking in max shouldn't be that big of a hassle though; then in dDo you just use the re-importer to reload the new colour map inside your project and everything gets updated. edit: Just noticed there's a button in the dDo UI that's tooltip reads: Create a Material ID from the active layer so maybe give that a go…
well, you have to fail at something sooner or later. Life would be boring as hell if you were great and just passed everything all the time. This kind of stuff keeps people humble. What you should have did though was quick save right before you messed up and just reloaded. Have you learned nothing from videogames!?
I tend to always go back to that one : http://www.doom3world.org/phpbb2/viewtop...ons&start=0 The cool bit with it is, since it supports Doom3 models, it can load separated greyscalebump and normalmaps, and also reads specular color. Yeah! You can even txt-create your lightsetup. F8 reloads textures.
Hi, After hours of playing with Bodeo 1889 Revolver, I liked its shape and reloading system, so I decided to make it a 3d so I can take a step into weapon modeling and texturing. it still has a lot of work to do. but I like to take into consideration your critic before finishing the modeling and going to the texturing part.
@decorix you can click on the plugins menu (topbar -> edit -> plugins) in toolbag and click show user plugins, it will open a folder where you can put the script. Then the same menu after your reload should show a button to run it. in 4 it looks like below after installing the script, should be similar in 3.
Finally I finished the job. I learnt many things especially about baking, texturing and rendering. thanks for your advices and comments. INNER PARTS FIRE MECHANISM RECOIL MECHANISM FIRE & RECOIL MECHANISM INSIDE FIRE MECHANISM INSIDE (FIRING PIN) BARREL EXTENSION (INNER PART) BARREL SIGHT TRIGGER & GRIP RELOAD
I was having trouble getting my mesh to display after saving a project, even reloading the mesh didnt associate it with the project files. If you save the project at the beginning and just use save, let ddo save the file where it wants and the next time you open ddo it will go to the project file and everything will…
This is the new design i'm working for him. I call him Sheamus McGroover: Reloaded. I'm going for a more modern task force design for him. This design should function better for his role on the team of old characters I'm redesigning. I dunno why the idea of a modern/futuristic mage is just so appealing! XD
