Hi guys Anyone run in to this problem where importing an Maya created FBX in to Max turns up invisible once imported? It renders fine, but just doesnt show up in the viewports. triangle counts, materials, all contents of the file is there, but its just invisible in the viewport. Maya 2011 FBX 2011 Max 2012 any clues? thanks

@CarlK3D Hey man, thanks :) I've been in the industry for 3 years now. Class of 2011 means that they started their education in 2011, so right now they're are on their second year and will go on internships for 6 months as well soon. As far as I know ^^
Really nice, it works ;-) to get it simpler you already have a "0_1]to[-1_ 0_1 ]" node in the library (and another one to get back to the original state) You could have put the rotation directly inside the pixel processor by using the rotate position node, but except this, I used the same maths :-)

Tried today to bake round corners in SI 2011 and got flat result :( ( Used all your advices (tangents and binormals)... May be it fails in 2011 because there's no "round corners" node - only "round_corners_mia" ?
what version of maya are you in. see if you can figure this out. it should open in a recent version. http://speedy.sh/5uT88/curve.ma edit: you can try to open the ma file and change the two lines at the top that say 2012 to 2011. it works in 2012 so it might work in 2011.
