Usually it's both - the scene bake won't take occlusion from a high res mesh, but the individual bake won't take occlusion from the scene surroundings. They'll get combined into a final AO value in some way.
-Is it possible in 3DO to render out Pictures with Transparent Background? -Can i add a Light Source in my 3DO Scene? -Can i add another Mesh in my 3DO Scene? If No -> My Wishes for the next Update :)
Does this include using a lights and a studio in my scene? It's not so much textured but it just makes it all look a little better. Also, what about GI and AO and such? Using GI, AO or scene lighting is allowed.
Hello Mr Chadwick, if i unhide all, there comes nothing ;-( So i cant analyse the scene ;-( I click on the vieport and right click, and "Unhide all". I only see the scene with the rigged character and the camera
I can see #2 fitting very well in the scene but I'm really enjoying the treatment of #3. #1 looks too clean to show off your skillset and #4 looks too dirty for an interior scene.
The jungle scene is great! For the other 2 scenes I would add more detail props like plants, debris, objects, etc. But don't over do it! Maybe some more light and light sources too.
IMO the rock at the moment looks a bit strange, like its balancing unrealistically. Without the big rock on top the scene would probably look better Something like this could work Overall the scene is looking good :)
so heres the scene currently inside UE4, still got a fair amount of work to do. (god rays are just placeholder assets, they are from epics effects cave sample scene) crits always welcome :D
Oh yeah and also, when im making my scene in maya or 3DS max should i make the whole scene and then export each individual asset out as separate FBX files? Cheers the for help guys!
You could also make the no-scene-lights option use the camera position itself as an assumed light source, that way you always get a view-aligned effect without having to manage lights in your scene.
