Wow, Bioforge. That had a pretty good intro, I'll have to dig it out. The combat system was awesome.. Better than a lot of beat-em-ups of the day. Didn't Mechwarrior 2 have an intro by ILM? I've got it somewhere...
Industrial-types: - Front Line Assembly (my fav) - Front 242 - Funkervogt - Velvet Acid Christ - Suicide Commando - Das Ich - System Syn - Gary Numan (yes, THAT Gary Numan) His lastest album is REALLY differant.
took about 2 and a half hours to install. When its uncomprressing the files, it just takes forever. My installs stopped working completely now and I am loathe to reinstall till i get my new system.
doesn't look like anybody's getting the sort of performance that was advertised. seems to need some pretty specific system requirements. say what we will of zb but at least it's a case of : ' you got some RAM ? right. we're good to go ' .
Not sure about the sound thing. Mine is connected to my TV through the RCA, so I don't know if it does surround. I plan on getting the optic cable later so I can connect it to my surround system.
Steam has been a really solid digital distribution system for a while now, despite me despising it in it's infancy. Crysis however, I couldn't care less for. Same story as Farcry imo = Amazing graphics but it bores you to sleep.
hehhehe, it's funny how something a little over 5 years old is considered ancient in game-time, it's kind of like the dog-years/human-years ratio. I remember playing the demo and it really taxed my poor system.
Yeah I forget what the format is for exp files and xsi has a crazy project based file folder system so it will be nested within a scene folder within the folder for that project (whatever you named it). jedwards@digitalextremes.com is fine
Not scriptable. You can open the system color picker through a script, but not the Adobe one. Yes, that's right, you are unable to open Adobe's color picker in Adobe's software in any way short of clicking the set color icons. Amazing.
It always seems like the systems i use for work are unstable enough, definately wouldnt want to risk serious damage to something you need to use every day for your main source of income, thats just asking for trouble.
