because it is the SPECIAL map.. I guess bc its funky stupid putting things on and of and doing this and that and eating bats and coocing snakes and if you HAVE the spirit you will be able to procue the special special map it's not the first time we see something like this :poly142: And I for my part love it
hey, I think right off the bat the biggest issue are the materials. In general I would say they are appearing flat and dull. eg metal does not look shiny enough and too matt. I think most of the work would be in the spec given if you had more time to work on it
It wont suck, it looks pretty decent even. Im happy they decided to go the Multiplayer Arena way and not just a darken air-shaft populated by brain eating zombies that were infected by some vilain mega-corporation. And also thanks for not hadding 15 inch layers of normalmaps everywhere and textures
That's crap. Much like Tinman, I always had to say right off the bat "No, my job isn't all fun and games". Once you explain things, people usually back away from the issue. And as soon as you hit discussion on crunch cycles, they usually run for the hills.
This isnt really environment art related, but had to drop this in here as opposed to starting a new thread. So great!! Even greater if I get to customise my own cat. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7Hq3YC3EXA&feature=player_embedded"]??????? 3? CBT ?? ?? ??? ?? ?? - YouTube[/ame]
I've got a livestream channel up JM3D ignore the 15 minute video, I had my channel open in another window so it's an endless loop! I'm gonna eat some din din and I'll be back at 8 (maybe a little preshow banter before that)
the link MOP provided for the tut IS the tut. there's nothing more on it. i personally had problems getting my snap to work....as did someone else. here's a link to the thread i posted: http://boards.polycount.net/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=110217&an=0&page=2#Post110217
Hay guys! From the department of pimping waaaay to early, I give you a statue of Tzeentch! Here you can follow my process from concept to finished product, molding things along the way with harsh criticisms. I've had the question posed to me "how are you at doing statues?" so I'm going to find out! first concept
Still wip, getting out of comfort zone with this one for texturing. Had to redo UVs to make more continuous islands and fix some harsh angles that were bothering me.
God I remember that show and all the action man style figures that accompanied it. I imagine it follows the same style as the new show? I can dig the new art style and may give it a watch to see what they've done with it. But I'm enjoying the work you've produced, especially the fish with the top hat. :)
