I was expecting some American beast, fine choice of transportation device R13. I was at a track a couple of years ago and saw a race spec golf that absolutely bolted off the line with all four wheels spinning. It left quite an impression on me and really increased my respect for these cars.
Fake or not, I like the part where he is trying to explain to her that it's still the same car and will drive and perform identically to a blue one. Woman don't choose cars based on performance specs lol. Especially not young ones, they want to drive it because it's "cute" or whatever. Disclaimer: In general :P
Yeah, I'd say Fraps is the best choice. I could get decent results on my less-than-beefy machine. A friend's monsterous work machine captured video at something like 60fps (sorry, I don't have the specs for it, but i know he was doing dev for the 360 on it)
Ok, so I'm going with dell, I customized it. Here's the specs I'm thinking about getting. Please let me know if I'm making some big mistake here. Thanks. The total comes out to $1,389. Sorry the font is so small, hopefully you can read it.
Thanks for the shots. I can see where this would be usefull, especially in use with a spec or normal map to simulate metal or other reflective surfaces. I'm working on a SHMUP right now, that is shader intensive. This would be great for a few of the ships if I can get a brushed metal look going.
Looking good hawken! The cockpit glass needs some work to make the render compete. I agree this one should spill over until next week. I just finished unwrapping and still have to paint a defuse and the normal =( Too bad we can't use a spec map.
Do you know if there are any tablets - I mean handheld, portable ones - that can run software like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance package and so on? I suppose it would have to be Windows 10 tablet. Do you think a $300 tablet has decent enough specs to allow a comfortable work on ~500k vertices or less?
Hello everyone guild 3d. I was going to do this for September in sketchfab, however, due to access tests for a job, I had put it on hold, at leisure I have advanced with this. It has been a pleasant experience learning the spec & gloss workflow. Concept by Davide Molino: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lVLo6o Enjoy it.…
Trying to create a nice portfolio piece within 2 weeks. Loosely aiming for current gen, will use normals, spec and alphas at the very least. Spent most of yesterday looking up reference and have been blocking out shapes, quite happy with the general shape of it now and am working up the blockout tomorrow with windows,…
An exercise in project follow through, poly flow, ...well, everything. Shooting for low phone specs. 500 tri max 4 characters. possibly all 8 bit textures w/ alpha if needed. Meshes are close to final, textures/uvs need some work. Tank. 340 tris (x2 with bile), 256 tex. Jockey witch bile
