Caldria: Thanks! Di$array: Troop pod! If you look closely above you can see one harness, it'll be duplicated around the interior as is the standard :) Here's a more recent render:

Di$array - thats ok man, the video should be saved on my twitch channel for you to enjoy whenever :)http://www.twitch.tv/ssstrikerrr/b/489761492 lotet - patches...most challenging thing thus far!
layer = LayerManager.newLayer() script above seems to be a workaround for getting objects back into a layer, but i suspect all my carefully organised layers have gone to bollocks. Wonderful.
Yea, Di$array's crit is spot on, the head needs a rescale. The crotch is also an issue, not sure if that's stretching or just weird geo. Definitely loving the amount of progress and improvements in this thread, keep it up, can't wait for the final piece.
Built the blacksmith's spider and hammer. Main hammer shape built with zbrush's live booleans and deformers. Spider from sphere, array mesh on legs. Not sure if I'll keep the eyes round or squash them to better match the concept.
As long as you Normalize after you edit, it technically should be correct. But thats like chopping wood with a hammer when you have an entire array of axes available to you. There are easier ways to do it.
I third the spline and path deform (Wsm) idea, but I us the array tool with it. Another way would be to use the attachment contraint too, but you have to manually add and move the rivets haha.
how would i go about generating a array of view layers, that all have a certain prefix in MEL. trying to modify a script that exports the contents of my view layers to separate files, to only work on layers that are prefixed with "XN".
Hello Poly Count community. I'm new to the 3D world and was looking for a place to get some feedback and grow as a 3D artist. I have a wide array of interests with a sweet spot for fantasy. Here's a sample of my current model.
No there is not on the video. Again our focus has been at our GDC booth for those that are able to make it we will have several games/demos working on an array of different tablets and engineers will be at workstations to show you the tools and workflows available in the engine.
