how would i go about generating a array of view layers, that all have a certain prefix in MEL.

trying to modify a script that exports the contents of my view layers to separate files, to only work on layers that are prefixed with "XN".

thanks was able to integrate that with the script i already got to get the results i wanted.

since you were so helpful there, do you know the commands for changing the grid size and dimensions off hand, i tried to figure it out by using the script editor with echo all command on but it didn't show me anything usable to work with.

Yup, no problem. The command is grid intuitively enough .

thanks will have to bookmark that site, i was just trying to track the command do via the script editors preview thing, but that is a lot more helpfull.
