No one chimed in on if Blockbuster and the like pay a premium for a videogame like they do for rental movies in order to rent them out. What happened to "Just wait"?
Well, the grout in photoshop is pure black. As a general rule of thumb no textures should be black if developed for a videogame. The brown stain looks like a shadow to me.

Stalker. But not the videogame stalker. But the movie Stalker. Which is already really similar to the game but I want something more like the movie. Like a sneaking mission through the zone.

Oooooh - yeah - The first level's music on "We love Katamri Damacy" - with the Japanese guy singing.... bahahahah - easily the funniest song I've heard in a while, videogame related or not.
A used ford has depreciated because it's a physical object that degrades. A videogame or DVD is a digital medium that is still exactly like the new version. You're analogy is severely flawed.
Agreed! Someday, hopefully, everyone will realize that this 'realism' is nothing but a horribly insufficient imitation of anime, and every single videogame character will look like they were made for Dead or Alive!
Ive never played a videogame with whatsoever realistic melee combat in terms of tactics and physics. it's definitely a complex problem, i just wonder if they can pull it off!
Shepeiro's tut is done in ZBrush and Max, but should be easy to adapt to Mudbox. http://osart3d.wordpress.com/tutorial-creating-perfectly-tiling-meshes-in-zbrush-for-use-in-videogame-environments/
