I've been making a ton of LoD models lately, anyone else run into massive bugs with Loop/Ring select and Reduce in Max9? Its at the point where I actually cringe a little bit in expectation every time I press them if there's any sort of strange geometry.

Hey everybody, iam struggling a bit with the proper method of UVing certain shapes. Especially the top of a poly ring. Do you peel it into a stripe or keep it as a ring? The Ring doesn't have checkers follow the shape but a stripe causes massive stretching and distortion. These are the 3 Objects i UVed for testing…
Yes, the lighting is a bit primitive. I'm only using 1 movable light due to forward shading; the other lights are static, and the light map size of the objects is limited to the 32x32-512x512 range. My assets didn't look good before I multiplied the Ao to Basecolor :/
