This is a native american tomahawk based on a concept art that i found on artstation for the wild west challenge, all 3d model and sculpting made in blender and textured in substance painter

Hi, Ive been having an issue where halfway through me animating, the model has frozen still but the controls are moving along the animation correctly as if it was working. Is there anyway to fix this?
Just wondered if anyone could recommend some plugins / scripts for Maya (2016) that help you with your modelling workflow... Quad capping a cylinder would be helpful. Many thanks.
I'm trying to figure out if I should make it into pieces or as one whole mesh. Pieces seem more versatile, and the panels and such can be moved and modified individually. It would lose baking information that I would have to paint back in, but that's fine. This is like a clay sculpture reference model of what the ship…
