Selaznog - Thanks! I really appreciate you keeping an eye on this thread. Yeah, to be honest I was a little disappointed I didn't get more responses / feedback here, especially in the final stages when I REALLY needed it. Oh well, it just pushes me to want to do better and create a more appealing character next time. If I…
@SveinY : I made his traps bigger near the base of his skull. I think it looks better, thanks for spotting that! @MadGunslinger : Thank you! Hopefully I can live up to your expectations. XD @tda : Thanks! I'm a dudette, btw. ^_^ @wrigglybear : Thank you! @Pixelatedkiwi : I'm glad you like it so far! It was actually your…
Thanks Dyspie I really appreciate the thought! 2/4/15 Today I did as I set out to and focused on more wall design. I designed yet another pillar and placed it into my throne area walls. I used a God of War Art book to get some reference (though a lot of the images are kinda hard to see) There is really cool stuff in there.…
Have you played any similar games on your computer? I have. I've played Gears of War, which was an excellent game in my opinion, but the worthless p2p connectivity completely killed it for me. It's exactly the same scheme here. What makes you think this is going to be any better? Do you really think your or mine or anybody…
[ QUOTE ] Either way , remakes never capture the feeling of the original. I think there is a bit of a dependency on the past. Whats wrong with the future? As far as site and layout goes that seems all and well. A lot of the content seems just a touch away from being hot. Temple scene has a great concept with lots of contrast and depth, but your textures and modeling work is just flat and planar. If your materials had more depth, contrast and stronger specular this scene…
Hey, I really like your work here. I see that you have a blog style going, and your kind of posting your WIP as you go but it would be nice to have some final organized presentation sheets at the end. By this I mean, your showing all your stuff, but I have to kind of dig through it all to really get the gist of how this…
Thanks guys, you're all awesome. I got a lot more information out of this post than I even began to imagine, as well as some solid advice for future portfolio work! That post, Xoliul, is awesome. I'm bookmarking it right now. I think this post really answers my question further. (posted by benclark on page 1 [slightly…
You can adjust the base mesh and have it update in Mudbox, but ONLY if you don't add or remove any verts/edges/polys. You can only move and scale existing verts, anything else will mean you'll have to sculpt from scratch again, I think (unless someone knows a clever workaround - not sure if you can select and detach polys…
