looking at it now, the door is a bit small, but its slightly odd, the door in game is the right size for the character, yet the stairs on the side of the building are also the right size, but in the pic, the door appears too small for the stairs. Maybe its just me.
actually its just a trashcan, C and C welcome this is an enviromental prop for a police training program im working on. ive been focusing on enviromental models and scene and particularly on textures and uvw mapping
Awesome work, only thing that really jumps out at me and screams at being wrong, is the ironwork on the doors. They should function as the hinges, and as it currently stands, your door handle is the same side as the hinges, so i reckon you would have a hard time opening the door.
Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/muqaddasaman Hey Polycounters! Just wrapped up my final MA project — Timeless Epoch — and I’m super excited to share it here. 1. Initial Inspiration The idea for Timeless Epoch began with my fascination for base-building mechanics in V Rising. I was especially intrigued by how…
That's pretty sweet, loving the environment there. There is something wrong with the door area, almost as if there is too high of ambient occlusion and none on the actual door. Because the door is the centerpiece, I would add some lights around it to give a warm look. Keep playing with the lighting though.
looking awesome! nice work on the water, the flags give some nice color variation and for the doors, maybe make a small one person door for places like on that image you refere to, looks more realistic then a dubble door to come out on such a small space
I'd watch your colors a bit. The gold trim on the door doesn't quite match the support pillars. The trim on the door is leaning towards orange - where the support pillars are leaning more yellow. (My personal preference would be to use the door's color palette throughout the entire piece)
If you build the door not at an angle and then move the pivot point where you want you can then rotate the door into place and if you do not freeze the transform it will retain its correct rotation so you can then animate in only one axis to open the door, for example rotate y.
Welcome to my sketch book of random studies and art. Sorry to disappoint those coming to view 3D models but I am not a 3D modeler but a 2D concept artist and illustrator. Lets start off with the nude ladies :poly136: They are old studies not new.
