But they don't enjoy it. This is where my absolute bemusement comes from. They buy it, feel obliged to play it, complain about it, and then buy the next one when it comes around. Maybe this phenomenon is unique to the UK, but FIFA and Call of Duty both attract this utterly unintelligible mentality.
@Blond how so? isn't criticism of modern day FF revolving around the updated gameplay-style and the increasing linearity of the worlds? as a lover of anything tactical and turn-based i certainly can't see the attraction. here they seemingly went out and reinvented the game.
I don't know if it makes that much sense. Knowing your votes is useful when you have something to compare them with, analyze what people found more attractive and try to figure out why - that sort of thing. But then again maybe it's just me.
I remember quite enjoying that game, never thought it was a 'bug ridden mess' at least. All I remember is that adaptive LOD thing made the models jiggle about while it was working as their polycounts changed infront of your eyes. Didn't look all that attractive.
I haven't played the demo but it seems awesome. I really enjoyed the DMC games I've played (3 and 4). It's interesting with the alternative rhythm-based controllers (automatic-play) for attracting people who aren't typical gamers. Will definitely try this when it's out.
It opened for me OK, using firefox. The waspy aspects have a 'stuck on' look, I think you could have gone a little more alien with your base model, and still keep her attractive. The anatomy is a bit simplistic, intentionally cartoony maybe?
We will continue. Mind you, this is all backstory, but it sets the scene for the world as we encounter it in the (fictitious) game Said Zhakharus Khenton put has ideals into practice and, after researching a database for available habitable planets, applied for a license with the Outer-space Settlement Agency to settle a…
yes love the crosses, keep em inverted! its great. that part attracted me to your art more. here is one for yourself, so you can live as your art does. - bellaclava inverted cross with jewely blood drops - a must have!
Thanks for sharing. Works better already. A small lamp somewhere around the door or over it could work, since it would insert some color gradients around the door. Would also make sense in a game if you want to attract the player through the door, there.
Yeh i will be :) the idea behind the frill is that its used for attracting potential mates and for scaring off enemies, so a lot of it will be in texture but yes i will be developing it more. still practising my 2D skills and atm am not comfortable with drawing details cheers man
